Monument Footer - 7/25/16
I can't say a big enough thank you for the donation of the monument footer. R. S. Mowery & Sons donated their services as General Contractor for the footer. The excavation for the footer was donated by John W. Gleim, Jr. Excavating and the concrete was donated by Pennsy Supply.
John W. Gleim and John T. Gleim dug the hole for the footer.
R. S. Mowery & Sons was on site all day. They designed the footer, poured the concrete, and coordinated the work with John W. Gleim and Pennsy Supply. Their help on this project was invaluable.
Pennsy Supply delivered the concrete to the site. So that no damage was done to the brick walkway, the men from R. S. Mowery & Sons used wheelbarrows to take the concrete from the truck to the footer.
The finished product. The form will be removed in a day or two when the concrete has set.
Monument Installation - 10/16/16
The monument was installed by Rob & Amy Lauver of Lasered Granite Art & Monuments. Lasered Granite worked with me to design, etch, and install the monument and information plaque
